Aminoglycoside chemistry guanidinylated aminoglycoside lipid conjugates
- Detailed Technology Description
- The aminoglycosides are among the oldest and most useful of the classes of antibiotic drugs. They have suffered from two drawbacks; the rise of antibiotic resistant bacterial strains, and toxicity. Researchers have developed new groups of aminoglycoside analogues, however progress is hampered by the difficult chemistry of this complex class of molecules.
