Composed of materials for engineering bone tissue, this plug may be inserted into a bone defect and then used to inject and hold in place polymeric materials that enhance bone regeneration. Other applications for this base technology include dental implants, vertebral fusion, and bone anchor implants for attachment of prosthetics.
