Northwestern experts in surgical education have created a mobile phone or tablet application (app) to grade and track surgical resident surgical skills in the operating room. The app enables surgeons to grade their residents immediately after the surgery with quick and informative metrics. It also enables surgeons to track their residents' performance and identify areas for additional training.
