- Detailed Technology Description
- Pseudonymous Public Keys Based Authentication: For a More Secure Intranet and Internet
- *Abstract
-
Northwestern researchers have developed a novel security system called IDnet Mesh. It is a physical-token-based single sign-on technology that enables a scalable, secure and reliable user authentication system with low deployment costs. It enables Internet-wide single sign-on solutions that benefit both the average Internet user and business stakeholders. Its unified authentication is an approach that allows a user to register once and then becomes capable to authenticate to many different systems, thereby streamlining the online experience.
