*Abstract: Here, we invent a general strategy to synthesize Fe nanoparticles and Fe single-atom materials on various substrates (e.g., multi-walled carbon nanotu bes, Si02, and Ti02) by atomic layer deposition (ALO) through optimization of ferrocene (Fe precursor) dose time and the number of ALO cycles.
