A technique for improved auto-segmentation of medicalimages has been developed to facilitate rapid and accurate segmentation ordelineation of structures of interest for treatment planning and otherapplications. The technique further allows an efficient integration of manualand automated inputs in the mesh deformation process which combined allows theaccurate and rapid planning for adaptive radiation therapy treatments.
