- *Abstract
-
This invention relates to a method for dramatically improving the quality of magnetic resonance (MR) image production. While parallel imaging is a well-known technique to accelerate the acquisition of MR data, the process causes edge-blurring during its image reconstruction. To alleviate this, the novel reconstruction technique uses the minimization of energy-like functions during the transform. This allows elimination of virtually all edge-blurring for a greatly improved MR imaging process.
