- Lead Inventors: Seungyup Stephen PaekSystems and methods for generating standard description records from multimedia information are described. Techniques which describe both video and image information as well the content of such information are provided.The method and system comprises a multimedia information input interface for receiving the multimedia information. A computer processor processes the multimedia information by performing object extraction processing to generate multimedia object descriptions. Multimedia object hierarchy descriptions are generated by object hierarchy processing. A data storage system, operatively coupled to the processor stores the description record.The method and system provides an efficient content description scheme for generic multimedia information.
