- *Abstract
-
The invention relates to a method for the recovery of gold and/or silver from a cyanide complexes solution of gold and/or silver, particularly from spent electrolytic baths. The inventive method comprises the following steps consisting in removing the oxygen from the solution, irradiating same with an ultraviolet radiation source which is visible in the presence of a photocatalyst, and separating the solid containing the photocatalyst, gold and/or silver from the liquid.
