The product is a locking device for synthetic webbing.
The product exhibits an high degree of innovation for what concern the
rigging of rodeolines and saglines, that is those webbing with very low
tension. Given the fact that there does not exisist any specific device for such
specifity of slackline, the product suits better than any of the others since
it avoids to tie knot, which are likely to ruin and weaken the webbing, it
avoids to climb on the anchor points, it allows, once the line is correctly
rigged, to easily tune the tension (and therefore the length) and, finally,
since it is specifically designed for low tension, it is small and light. More over it is also versatile, indeed, being cautious in the usage, the
product can be easily used for other uses, rather the main one.
Slacklining is a sport consisting in walking and performing static and
dynamic tricks over a synthetic webbing, tensioned across two anchor
points (trees, poles, rocks, …). The tension may vary according to the
various disciplines of the sport.
The product is a locking device for synthetic webbing. The locking effect
is produced through the friction of the webbing, both on the device and on
the webbing: its functioning is similar to clasp of the backpacks. This result in the webbing to be locked without slipping, maintaining a
fixed length anchored to the support (tree, pole, …), thanks to the friction
of the athlete walking over the webbing.
