Others
The present invention concerns development of variants of structural multilayer materials of enhanced corrosion resistance, containing consecutively joint external base layers, being in direct contact with working aggressive media on one or two sides of the multilayer material, and alternating internal base and internal sacrificial layers, placed between external base layers. Herewith, base layers are made of metallic materials featuring a state of passivity over a long period of time with further development of pitting corrosion in them, and internal sacrificial layers, being in contact with aggressive media as corrosion pits penetrate deeply through previous external and internal base layers, are characterized by development of general corrosion and perform a sacrificial function in relation to external and internal base layers. The methods of manufacturing of such materials are suggested.
