The present invention provides an optical fiber having the gas laser and the laser optical fiber ring laser gyroscopes. The optical fiber comprises a gas laser excitation gas, the excitation source and the optical cavity, characterized in that the optical cavity by the hollow fiber and single mode fiber coupler constituted of a single mode fiber coupler arms for the solid optical fiber, said two and said arms respectively connected to both ends of the hollow fibers, the hollow core of the fiber is filled with the excitation gas as the gain medium; simple structure, low cost, adjustable size, zoom performance. Thus gas lasers made of optical fiber ring laser gyro can be applied to robotic systems, car navigation systems and other fields.
