詳細技術說明

Researchers at INLhave developed a method known as Active Measurement Cancellation (AMC) formeasuring impedance. This new method is effective for measurement of isolatedcomponents as well as active, interconnected circuits, allowing impedancemeasurement in situ. The AMC circuit is capable of cancelling the effects ofthe interconnected circuit, measuring only the response of the desired component,e.g. a battery cell, thereby allowing accurate, immediate, impedancemeasurements of the components even when in use.

This technology hasbeen tested and validated at the bench scale. Additional development will berequired to integrate this technology into a commercially viable product. BEAmay be in a position to support additional research and development of thistechnology under a mutually acceptable Cooperative Research & DevelopmentAgreement (CRADA), Strategic Partnership Projects (SPP), or similar agreementsubject to prior approval of DOE.
