University researchers have developed fabrication methods and articles of manufacture that pertain to materials exhibiting enhanced light reflection – or reduced absorption and thus lower temperature - while maintaining a black or dark color. Applications include cloth for abayas worn by Muslim women, tents, awnings, or other outdoor and special cloth uses.
