● The novel GA binding proteins are helpful in increasing the GA sensitivity to enhance plant growth. ● Tall crop plants such as grain crops can be modified into dwarf types by suppressing the expression of the proteins. The lodging can be reduced to improve the yield.● The novel protein can be used to assess the binding to biologically active GA.　Compounds that regulate GA actions on plants can be screened and tested.
