Based on the analysis of DNA-methylation (DNAm) profiles an Epigenetic-Aging-Signature has been evolved which only requires measurement of DNAm levels at six specific CpG sites. The DNAm can be assessed by locus specific pyro-sequencing analysis of bisulfate-converted DNA.
