A send time is scheduled for each core access unit over a channel at a first capacity. The send time is scheduled for each core access unit in order from the access unit with the greatest decode time to the access unit with the smallest decode time.The method and system provides the authors of object-based audiovisual presentations with real time feed back relating to the schedulability of the presentation.
