Brain cooling apparatus and fluid infusion device for use therein
A brain cooling apparatus comprising tube mainbody (2) capable of ensuring the airway of living body; pharyngeal cuff(5) fitted to the periphery of the tube main body (2) and capable of accommodating a cooled fluid thereinside; and infusion drain part (6) capable of fluid infusion and drain for the pharyngeal cuff (5)，wherein the pharyngeal cuff (5) has such a flexibility that expansion and shrinkage can be realized in accordance with fluid infusion and drain, respectively, and wherein an arrangement is made such that in the infusion of fluid while the tube main body (2) ensures the airway of living body, expanded accommodation parts are brought into close contact with the pharynges(T) of the living body.
