FHT Stove ??? Directly linking wood burning stoves to central heating circuits
The FHT Stove provides switchable, fail-safe heat transfer from wood burning convector stoves to any hydronic heating circuit. A low noise fan reverses the natural upward flow of hot air around the outside of a stove, drawing heat downwards to a heat exchanger. Heat is only transferred when the fan is ???on???, otherwise it passes to the room by natural convection. There is no direct contact between the fire and heat exchanger, ensuring fail-safe operation. See website for more information.
The FHT Stove technology transforms a convector stove into one that can transfer heat to any hydronic circuit without affecting the stove combustion temperatures. Fail-safe operation provides a unique level of customer comfort control with switchable heat transfer. Integration into existing stove designs with only minor changes has been proven, allowing manufacturers to add unique functionality to existing designs with little development risk and addresses 2022 emissions legislation.

Issued patent
The FHT Stove technology has been extensively tested on various stove designs and fail-safe operation proven. The fan is designed for very low noise operation and the heat exchanger has been optimised for this application. A considerable body of ???know how??? is available to complement the patenting. The design maintains the high combustion temperatures required for clean wood burning, such that 2022 emissions conditions can be achieved with heat transfer to the hydronic circuit.
