FHT Stove Directly linking wood burning stoves to central heating circuits
- 总结
- The FHT Stove technology can be applied to many different types of convector stove. A low power, low noise fan is used to reverse natural convection from the stove surfaces to draw heated air through a heat exchanger connected to the central heating circuit. When the fan is on all of the convective heat from the stove is drawn through the heat exchanger to heat the water. When the fan is off, all of the convective heat passes to the room in which the stove is located by natural convectionBurning wood (logs) in stoves and inset fires is one of the largest sources of renewable heat in Europe. Stove sales are buoyant as customers readily embrace this simple technology to save money, gain fuel security and reduce carbon emissions. Being able to effectively control the heat output from wood burning stoves and being able to distribute heat to other parts of the home considerably improves both comfort and the ability to displace fossil fuel heating in the rest of the home, saving mon

- The FHT Stove technology has been tested on various convector stove designs with around 1000 hours of successful testing completed, much of it logged in detail. Although simple in concept, around three years of engineering have been applied to optimise the design, prove fail-safe operation and to ensure efficient and very quiet operation. Information from the development and test programme provides a considerable body of know how IP to complement the patenting.
