We are exploring applications of ZigBee technology to a range of medical applications. The medical sensors in the system automatically send the measured data (e.g. blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose level and heart rate) to the ZigBee coordinator. The ZigBee coordinator collects the measured data from all medical sensors and passes the data to the medical data collection system. It allows doctors and nurses to monitor patients from time to time anywhere.
