A Method for Human Verification Using Evoked Action Potential Signal
A method of providing reliable user access to secured files in verification systems is disclosed. In this preferred embodiment, a biometric comparison algorithm is utilized to permit authorized users to access the verification system. A user provides the biometric information, and the involved bio-signal is called evoked action potential. A processing algorithm responsive to the biometric signal is applied to compare it with the stored biometric data representative of the biometric features of that user. These biometric features are unique identifiers specific to the enrolled users, and the verification is carried out only if the biometric information matches sufficiently to the stored biometric data template.
