- Lead Inventors: Yechiam YeminiA system of architecture for facilitating control of data traffic in switched networks and a switching system that uses a routing tree to switch communication traffic in a network.The method and system comprises of multiple switching nodes interconnected with one another with communications links. Each switching node connects to incoming and outgoing links to which data is sent and received. Configuration information is provided on routing trees involving the switching node. A sequence of time bands is defined associated with the routing trees. Configuration information is received for particular time bands.The system provides effective bandwidth utilization and supports efficient interconnection.
