A new method of transdermal drug delivery using hyaluronic acid (HA) nanoparticleshas been developed by researchers at the University of South Florida. Nanoparticles of HA can be formulated to encapsulate peptides, DNA and small drug molecules, thus making an attractive candidate for cell specific drug delivery.
