Dr. Stephen Boppart from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has developed a user-friendly multimodal imaging system to examine tumor microenvironments in situ and label-free. This system has the capability of detecting extracellular vesicles and other cell structures that will enable quicker detection and diagnosis of cancer.
