Camera Based Rodent Cage Monitoring
- 详细技术说明
- Rodents, including mice used for biomedical research, are housed in individually ventilated cages. These cages must be checked daily by an animal technician to ensure animal wellbeing (e.g., animal activity, food and water level). About 20% to 40% of technician time is devoted to this task. Researchers at Nationwide Children's Hospital are automating this process by using sensors and camera technology to monitor the overall animal wellbeing.
