*Abstract
In prior art, use of standard parallel rollers for gear bearing drives is well-known;however, such rollers and associated bearings/drives experience one or more of thefollowing limitations, such as shear forces on gear teeth, excessive thrust, unevendistribution of moment loads, structural complexities (such as related cost, weight,volume), and significant slippage friction. This invention relates to the developmentand use of a novel 4-point roller bearing for enabling a compact, planetary drive train,overcoming the prior art limitations and/or unmet needs.
