CAPTCHAs ("Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart") were first designed to allow the determination of whether or not a user is human using a challenge-response test. While CAPTCHAs worked fine when they first appeared in 2000, computing power and OCR programs (both general-purpose ones and those designed specifically to defeat CAPTCHAs) have grown highly sophisticated. To solve this problem, researchers have created a dynamic CAPTCHA that leverages the human ability to extract patterns in moving images. Our system requires a gesture-based input in response to the CAPTCHA challenge. The user simply needs to move their finger and trace the target image based on the video movie being displayed the device. Once the gesture is completed (indicated by the removal of contact with the touchscreen) the coordinates of the gesture via contact with the touchscreen are then transmitted to a central server that can determine if the response is correct.

Title: FAST DIAGNOSIS AND PERSONALIZED TREATMENTS FOR ACNE | DIAGNOSTIC RAPIDE ET TRAITEMENTS PERSONNALISÉS DE L'ACNÉ
Usefulness: FAST DIAGNOSIS AND PERSONALIZED TREATMENTS FOR ACNE | DIAGNOSTIC RAPIDE ET TRAITEMENTS PERSONNALISÉS DE L'ACNÉ
Summary: The methods and kit are used for determining whether an individual possesses acne; diagnosing different types of acne; and rapidly diagnosing acne. The vaccine and composition are used for the prevention and/or treatment of acne caused by P. acnes and treating a P. humerusii -associated malady (all claimed).
Novelty: Determining whether an individual possesses acne by amplifying 16S ribosomal DNA in the test sample, sequencing the amplified DNA products, and typing the individual's DNA based on the major ribotypes of Propionibacterium acnes strains
