《郎雀》是国家博物馆至今收藏的唯一一部现代漫画，代表了我国现当代最高的漫画艺术成就；作品创作始于1990年，由各自独立、完整的故事组成，至今已成书54册（尚未出版），并在继续创作中。作品真实呈现了中国传统文化影响下的世俗行为，用幽默的故事情节表现严肃的文化思考，饱含深厚的民族文化底蕴和浓郁的中国味道，体现出中华民族自我反省、不断完善的文化自觉。项目将相继开发包含动漫图书、影视、网络连载等动漫直接产品，并进行礼品、服装、玩具、游戏等衍生品的授权开发。
