Summary: (I) is useful for: treating hyperlipidemia; modulating the level of a blood component (total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein-C or low density lipo protein-C); and modifying serum levels (claimed). The ability of (I) to treat hyperlipidemia was tested in mice. The results showed that the total cholesterol level of the mice in normal group and other treatment groups was significantly lower than the control when administering (I).
