- The technical solution of utility model 1) Arrangement for preparation of nanostructured superhydrophobic surfaces with radially symmetric gradient of wettability. Technical solution of patent 2) Method for preparation of nanostructured superhydrophobic surfaces with radially symmetric gradient of wettability.Various durable surfaces were verified for their biocompatibility using the models of human cancer osteoblast cell line and human primary osteoblasts. We developed a device and procedures for preparation of nanostructured superhydrophobic surfaces with a possibility of their functionalization. Covalent binding of various biologically active molecules onto the prepared surfaces is planned with verification of their function. Applicability of cement surfaces will be studied using the primary osteoblasts. Commercialization: companies producing joint replacements and bone and tooth implants, interested in the possibility of producing bioactivated durable surfaces.
