Researchers at the University of South Florida have demonstrated that human protein kinase C (PKC) ╬┤VIII is increased in neuronal cancer cells and decreased in patient samples from AlzheimerΓÇÖs Disease (AD). This characteristic of the protein can make it a potential biomarker for nervous system disorders.
