Three-Dimensional Porous Membrane that Mimics in vitro Epithelia
- 詳細技術說明
- The invention describes a method to fabricate porous polymer membranes that are shaped in 3D to form tall villi.
- *Abstract
-
This microporous, polymeric membrane can be used flat or made into highly controlled microscale three-dimensionally shaped surfaces to simulate living membrane, such as villi. This membrane can also be integrated into multi-organ cell culture systems and “body-on-a-chip” devices.
This invention offers several notable improvements over similar membrane technologies.
