詳細技術說明: Smartpens (from Livescribe) are digital pens that record your work at the time and sequence it was written. By applying proprietary data mining techniques and methods, we can automatically assess and distinguish between successful and unsuccessful students. This technology enables educators to detect students who are at risk of failure so they can target additional instructional resources to those students. Most exciting, this technology allows educators to automatically grade student’s homework and exams without lifting a red pen.

*Abstract: With school budgets tightening and class sizes increasing, less resources are available for educators to assess the learning of their students. Online education offers the potential to address these concerns, but the inability to quickly and easily assess student performance and provide feedback to a large audience of students, holds back this resource.
