These monoclonal antibodies (4 different hybridomas) were raised against the N-terminal half of recombinant Limulus (horseshoe crab) visual arrestin, a protein that interrupts light-activated signal transduction in the eye, causing an autoimmune eye disorder. Antibodies are specific for Limulus- wide species; cross-reactivity was not tested.
