BENEFITSSystematic Assessment: By momentarily recording the cognitive-behavioral impact of CIRT-CDSS-CCMC information hits on health professionals, this technology uniquely and systematically assesses impact (including e-learning) on the job; Quantitative and Qualitative Assessment: The method evaluates CIRT-CDSS-CCMC information hits using a 10-item scale, and a free-text box; Flexibility: Electronic information resources, regardless of type (e.g. Information Retrieval Technology, Computer Mediated Communication, or Decision Support Systems) or platform (e.g. PDA, desktop, laptop, or Internet) can be assessed; Resource Improvement: The method enhances feedback by engaging the user.
