- In the context of eye movements, current classifiers are heavily dependent on human intervention, and are restricted in the range of their application. The results are highly unsatisfactory, and usually require intensive human viewing and editing. Hence they do not lend themselves to fully automated or real-time applications. Even more recent efforts using fuzzy logic or neural networks to detect patterns are also very limited in their application. Market applications include clinical rotating systems, eye-tracking devices used for human/handicapped interfaces, Raman spectrometer manufacturers.Benefits:Accuracy: outperforms most currently available classifiers and this with general input waveforms;Reliability: does not require post-processing editing to correct or filter the results; Automatic: does not require human intervention.
