- Monoclonal antibodies to Prox1 of vertebrates and twocontinuous cell lines for their production are available for licensing. These antibodies are particularlyuseful in immunoassays to detect the presence of Prox1 protein in vertebratetissues and cells. Prospero-related homeobox 1 (PROX1) is frequentlyinactivated by genomic deletions and epigenetic silencing in carcinomas of thehepatobiliary system.
