Conventional tuning procedures for ferrite devices involve the use of magnetic fields produced by current driven coils. However, these devices are associated with digital or discrete phase shifts having common limitations such as high power consumption and slow response time. Moreover, such former devices have associated limitations with respect to their size, weight, and cost. This novel procedure enables development and use of magnetoelectric transducers for effective voltage based tuning of various magnetic devices (including ferrite devices).
