*Abstract

This work describes the identification of large-scale patterns of gene expression changes in the context of a validated rodent model of depression and of antidepressant reversal. This tool will help understand the global effects of current antidepressants and may be important for targeted drug discovery of the complex signaling networks in the brain that modulate depression and mood disorders.List of new genes with putative implications in depression or its therapeutic treatment were identified. These genes may represent new targets for therapeutic interventions in depression and other mood disorders. Available as a Research Tool
