Many neurodegenerative disorders of the brain are caused by abnormalities in brain circuitry, or how different brain locations interact with other locations. For example, in Parkinson's Disease, a reduction of dopamine secretion from the substantia nigra impacts on multiple brain structures including (but not limited to) the subthalamic nucleus, the globus pallidus, the thalamus, and the cerebral cortex. This invention describes a cranial device for electrical brain neuromodulation that allows multiple brain targets to be treated. The device allows 1-5 electrodes to be inserted into the brain, connected to a computer chip implanted under the scalp, and powered by a thin rechargeable battery construct.ApplicationsTreatment of disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, tremor, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, other behavioral disorders, stroke, dystonia, and other neurodegenerative processesAdvantages1) Allows modulation of multiple brain targets easily.2) Is located completely in the head.3) Has a rechargeable power supply.Non Provisional Patent Application Filed
