PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the sectional shape of a hole, through which a space in a ventilating opening fitting body is caused to communicate with the outside, maintained without getting out of a shape due to heat and besides small animals and rain water are prevented from entering the indoor as sufficient ventilation between the indoor and the outdoor is achieved.SOLUTION: Tubular outer and inner cylinders 2 and 6 are disposed in a ventilation hole 30 to interconnect the inside and the outside of a house wall. The opening parts on the outdoor side of the outer and inner cylinders 2 and 6 are covered by a plate member 21. A space in the inner cylinder 6 is caused to communicate with the outdoor through a long hole 22 formed in the plate member 21. The long hole 22 is provided with a hole shape maintaining part 23 to prevent deformation of the sectional shape of the long hole 22 due to a high heat in a process of burning.
