The invention provides a side emitting light emitting diode light source within the lens. Its role is to change the light emitting diode chip emitting direction, most of the light from the side of the light emitting diode chip along the central vertical axis of the very small angle inward gathered around the launch. The inner lens and the light emitting diode chip packaged together, the encapsulated diode module includes a base; light emitting diode chip mounted on the base; inner lens, the base is connected to the bottom, and the light emitting diode chip is located inside the central axis of the lens. Through the inner lens refractive surface and a total reflection surface, the light emitting diode chip emitting side of the light source within the lateral direction of the LED lens is more concentrated beam, and enhance the luminous efficiency of LED side.
