The Online Platform for the Teaching/(Self-)Learning of Translation and Bilingual Writing is part of the output of a CityU funded teaching development project, with the potential of forming an inter-institutional/international network. The database of the Platform features a variety of genres/subject domains, and the corpus is annotated following a system of ‘tag-words’ generated from research-informed text analyses. The system provides interconnected navigation facilities to link up text annotations, exercises, knowledge-focused topical boards, real-time study progress monitoring devices, and tutor-learner communication channels for online learning.

This Platform has been applied in the bilingual writing/translation courses in the university. To enhance the development of an inter-institutional/international network to share teaching and learning resources, the project team endeavors to involve more local and international universities and institutions in constructing the online Platform.
