CityU inventors have developed an apparatus that can operate with electronic ballasts to drive DC-powered lighting equipment such as LED lamps, halogen lamps and incandescent lamps. Lamps installed with this apparatus do not need to substitute existing electronic ballasts with LED ballasts. The proposed technology can control the amount of power supplied to the lamp.
