DLNA stands for “Digital Living Network Alliance”, whose aim is to build interoperable platforms, devices and applications. The main purpose of DLNA is the establishment of wired and wireless interoperable networks of personal computers (PC), consumer electronics (CE) and mobile devices for use at home and on the road, enabling a seamless environment for sharing new digital media and content services.
Everyone has experienced the digital evolution in our everyday lives when we use devices and services such as the television, camera, telephone, Internet, music players, gaming devices and security devices. The arrival and promises of broadband and pervasive networking have extended the network and the Internet to our homes. Wireless networking bridges any final distance between us, connecting us while on the move and giving us constant access to media from the personal devices we carry with us.
The “DLNA Device for Home Network” project aims to create a system in which music and other digital entertainment content can become accessible from various devices at home regardless of where the media is stored. We have also extended its application on security system.
