The novel fiber optic condensation sensor (FoBt sensor) combines the detection of water condensation at the probe surface with an active determination of the Betauungsgrades and the optical temperature determination at the sensor head.Because of the non-electrical measurement method, the FoBt sensor is not only in the classic dew-endangered environments, but beyond in particularly sensitive, potentially explosive areas or in the vicinity of high voltage.
