A novel human gene product discovered by researchers at the University of South Florida’s College of Medicine, termed POP2 (Pyrin-Only Protein-2 ), has been shown to be a strong inhibitor of the Nuclear Factor kB (NF-kB) protein.NF-kB is involved in an large number of diseases including:*Rheumatoid Arthritis* Leukemia/Cancer* AIDS Dementia Complex*Diabetes*Hodgkin’s Disease
