Solid-State Nano-Integrated 3D-Battery from Block Copolymer Self-Assembly
- 详细技术说明
- This invention provides methods and compositions for 3Dassembly of a nano-integrated battery that uses a gyroidal mesoporous carbonanode.
- *Abstract
-
Professor Wiesner's group has developed a solid-state nano-integrated 3D-battery that presents macroscopic dimensions and anode, electrolyte, and cathode layer thicknesses of below 20 nm. This invention exhibits secondary battery type cycling, with areversible discharge plateau at 2.5 V with reversible capacity.
Potential Applications
- Energy storage (batteries, etc.)
- Electrodes meant for high-power demanding applications.
Advantages
Battery technology that allows for faster recharge.
