- 详细技术说明
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a continuum of developmental disabilities which may be characterized by challenges in social interactions and communication, as well as repetitive behaviors and circumscribed interests. Recent ASD diagnoses have increased dramatically with 1 in every 68 in the US being diagnosed with ASD in 2014. Annual US medical costs associated with ASD are projected to reach $200-$400 billion in the next 10 years. Researchers at the University of California, Davis have developed a wearable monitoring system to better understand the emotional volatility many individuals with ASD may exhibit. This monitoring system, in the form of a wearable glove, measures the physiological responses of a user's sympathetic and para-sympathetic nervous system, such as sweat and heart rate. Measured and recorded data can then be relayed to the user's or caretaker's smart phone/device via Bluetooth provided by a microcontroller.
